Delta Little League

Delta Little League (DLL) is the flagship youth program for Delta Baseball. Founded in 1967, Delta Little League has been on Royerton School grounds since that time. DLL is a 100% volunteer-run organization dedicated to improving the lives of young athletes through sport, teamwork, and hard work. We are a proud chartered member of Little League baseball.

General Dates (for specific dates, see "Important Dates")

• Registration - Opens in early January and closes by the end of February. Tee ball registration typically runs later (mid-March)

  • Those interested in coaching please notify us prior to registration close!

• Skills Assessment - Rookie, Minor, and Major divisions only. Held in early March.

• Regular Season - Opening day is typically mid-April. The regular season ends in early-mid June

• League Tournament - Rookie, Minor, and Major divisions hold a single-elimination tournament every year. This tournament immediately follows the regular season (early/mid-June)

• District Tournament - Approximately mid-regular season, voting for district all-star teams will commence. Those selected for the District Tournament Team ("All-Stars" will have an opportunity to play in the district tournament, typically held at the end of June/beginning of July.   • We use Sports Connect (also known as Blue Sombrero) for registration. If this is your first time registering, you must create your own username/password and a profile for each player you plan to register.

  • Please make sure all contact information is accurate and up to date. If contact info is incorrect, you will not receive important messages as SportsConnect is the league's official form of communication.

Divisions

• Tee-Ball - league ages 4-6 (6 year-olds may register for either tee-ball or rookie league)

  • Little League rules allow for 7 year-olds to play tee ball in special circumstances, we typically do not encourage this unless there is good reason

  • Price: $75 (2025 rate)

• Rookie League (Coaches' Pitch)  - league ages 6-8

  • Please note: 6 year-olds must attend the skills assessment

  • If safety director or evaluators recommend placement in tee-ball we will notify the parent that registered the player

  • Price: $120 (2025 rate)

• Minor and Major League (Player Pitch) - league ages 9-12 (12-player teams are drafted in majors, minor league draft follows for undrafted players)

  • Price: $120 (2025 rate)

• Senior League: Delta Little League is not officially affiliated with or responsible for a senior league at this time
